But Prevent did not allow itself to be frightened, but stopped the delivery of parts that VW could not find quickly enough elsewhere on the market. This is the part that has been known so far. And BusinessInsider.de has now announced that on June 12, 2013, it developed a "Prevent exit strategy" for VW. The auto parts supplier was to be thwarted, and the project was called “Elefant”. According to Volkswagen’s calculations at the time, the shutdown of the Prevent could be completed by 2020 because suppliers cannot be so easily replaced due to long-term planning in car production.
