A new business is flourishing in the south of Serbia: forgery and sale of negative tests for coronavirus, writes H1, referring to the Macedonian media.
Macedonian citizens returning to their country via Nis airport have reported to Macedonian security services that they have been offered the opportunity to purchase a falsified negative PCR test for coronavirus at a price of 50 euros.
As reported by carriers entering Northern Macedonia through the Tabanovce border crossing, such a test can also be purchased at petrol stations in Vranje, but for 65 euros.
The protocol is currently such that every Macedonian citizen who enters Northern Macedonia must have a negative test for Covid-19 not older than 72 hours. Otherwise, he will be sentenced to 14 days of self-isolation.
There is already a Government proposal to allow swabs to be taken and passengers to be tested at border crossings. Accredited laboratories would then send these tests electronically after crossing the state
