NINO ĐULA

WINNERS AND LOSERS Nino Đula Something is seriously and dangerously bothering him, and in everything he has revealed something from which we can freeze Why such an urge to shoot, devalue, silence, mark, turn the crowd on just about anyone who dared to contradict you Zoran Milanovic Vladimir Simicek / AFP Posted: October 3, 2020 11:28 am Everyone scratches where it itches, but still few do it as ecstatically and naturalistically as Zoran Milanović . From the president of all citizens (in theory) to the president of mostly those citizens who are most obsessed with swearing, insults, insults, disqualifications, sarcasm and shoeing (in practice), Milanovic spent two weeks uncontrollably sniffing his "Janaf affair" -washed state corps , live in front of cameras and microphones, so wild that all his potential or logical allies fell off him like big dry scabs in a live broadcast. From civil society organizations ("what is GONG, who are these Babes and what does the anonymous ombudswoman want"), through the green and left opposition, all the way to his last "protégé" Peđa Grbin, to whom he also finally said what he thinks follows him: ("If the SDP will lead like that, it will not be good"). The only ones he kept his insight into were, look at the miracles, Plenković's ministers from the basement in Slovenia, and with them the failed anti-system tribune and anti-vaxer Ivan Pernar , about whom Milanović spoke with the words and melody of a warm and caring parent. One might think that this is the president's new direction, deliberate repositioning, expanding the audience, but there is too little control and system in these outbursts of verbal aggression for such theses to be sustainable. The president's September, which sadly spills over into October ("this conversation will continue"), is for Milanovic for some reason a month of serious agony, one in which he (one part of the public) only seems to be having a good time. In reality, Milanovic struggles with a growing ruin between a projected, thoughtful, paid image of him as a "politician with a character who owes no one and will tell everyone everything" and completely contradictory images of a man with secrets who owes at least a couple of free lunches. basements where a robbery of public money might have been arranged and which would ruin everything for the "grandmothers" and the frogs, but it would also protect and spare the men with whom he dined. Although he loses control, the president is of course not abandoned by the intelligentsia: he very cunningly and vilely emphasizes polarization in society because he knows that criticism at his own expense will be most easily devalued and rejected as politicking and partisanship. In style: they attack him because they are for Plenković. It is not only Milanović's bubble throughout history that has been sustained precisely by such a reduction in thought and stupidity. After all, since Tudjman , let's not go earlier, everyone who had a remark was either a Soros resident or a communist or a Chetnik. RELATED NEWS 8253963 NINO ĐULA WRITES Little by little, with difficult words and weak deeds, the president branded himself a Soviet-type democrat NINO ĐULA WRITES The SDP is acting as if only Bernardic has been defeated, not their entire spent concept The most passionate fans of Milanović's today's instinctive hostile speech have not significantly evolved from such Tudjman's defenders, and it would not be surprising if it is largely an identical mob. He is the ideal president for such an easily ignited audience, the small problem may be that they still did not present his last election victory in the majority. For some reason, Milanović is hiding behind the people he wants to inflame, quarrel with, bleed. Citizens are being held hostage to the president's case, which began with the police uncovering a suspicious den with a money counter, and where will it end - who can know? Every government, of course, and especially this one whose ministers go from affair to affair, deserves a quality and strong opposition. But it was Milanovic, who now takes the dishonest position of opposition leader, who systematically made sure that the HDZ had no real opposition and that the remaining opposition ended up on the sidelines. From the time when he dissolved the SDP into Bernardines and humps, Maras and Baldasars, Szabs and Lovric women, to the present day when he speaks with disgust and underestimation about everything in the opposition (from Dalija Orešković to Peđa Grbin), and gently maybe only about the occasional HDZ - to the assassinated minister, Butković or Ćorić . Something is bothering the president. Why else - except out of insecurity and frustration - such an urge to shoot, devalue, silence, mark, turn the crowd on anyone who dared to contradict you, criticize you, object to you, subject you to more or less successful political satire. Apart from showing us all the gloom of his unbalanced presidential character without full discomfort, Milanović bravely, but perhaps a little carelessly, goes a step further in revealing himself. The worst we could hear from the president is actually his notion of personal and social success and his scale of values. We can literally freeze from that. You are not successful or successful for the Croatian president if you have dedicated yourself to women's rights for decades, if you taught philosophy at university, if you do not have four million kuna in an apartment at the age of 36, if you worked as an IT specialist in a private bank, if you drive a middle class car. you live in an apartment of 50 square meters ... You have succeeded if you have been in politics for fifteen years, or even more, because you have realized through one of the two big parties, if you have survived despite not doing anything important to fix the system, if you have privileged intrusion into guys clubs for politicians and directors, an exclusive interest rate for a home loan, if a military patrol boat comes for you while you are swimming, if a lockdown is not valid for you, and if you can publicly mock anyone. People with such a view of values and success are real hinders (of development, investigation and dialogue) and false mourners over a system in which they swim perfectly, pretending to be dissatisfied with it.
