RIGHT ISSUES Eight answers Milanovic should give before continuing to attack critics The address of the former company of President Zoran Milanović is at the address of Janaf's headquarters By: Goran PenićPosted: October 6, 2020 9:52 am Illustration Illustration Morning paper Facebook Twitter Messenger E-mail Yesterday, the President of the Republic continued his verbal confrontation with everyone who criticized his unusual public appearances in the last two weeks, which started after Dragan Kovačević was arrested in the Janaf affair , whose club in Slovenska 9, where he allegedly received bribes, visited and Zoran Milanović . This time, the target was philosopher and political analyst Zarko Puhovski , as well as RTL television, which hired him. Earlier, the president also attacked BABE, Gong, Jutarnji list, Rada Boric, Tomislav Tomasevic, Visnja Ljubicic, Dalija Oreskovic and Marijana Puljak, Pedja Grbin, Ivan Turudic, Ranko Ostojic and Andrej Plenkovic . He defended Plenković's ministers who visited the Club and the wife of former president Jakov Kitarović, who was there on the day when the bribe was allegedly handed over. Whether the president is really in a panic, as Puhovski says, we do not know, but before continuing to attack his critics, he should certainly publicly and unequivocally answer a few important questions that arise. How many times was he at the club, when exactly, and who did he hang out with? The president has so far not answered exactly how many times he has been to the club, when, or with whom he has been there. He indicated that he had been there twice and then “several times,” once as president. Also, he did not respond to anyone he was with. He only replied that he had been with two or three people, and after it became clear that Robert Hranj was also there , we learned that he had been there twice at the president's invitation. He also did not clarify when exactly he was during and before his term. Did the Club discuss Janaf's business and what is the nature of the relationship between Kovačević and Milanović? The logical question is whether the business of that state-owned company Janafa was discussed in the Club, but also what is the nature of the relationship between the president and Kovacevic. In one of his statements, Milanović said that he could not say that Kovačević was his friend, but he said that he was good with him and that he had known him for a long time. Did he work with any company that was in a business relationship with Janaf while he was a consultant? The headquarters of Milanović's consulting company EuroAlba Advisory, whose management he transferred to the bookkeeping service in February this year, just before the inauguration, is at the same address as Janaf's headquarters, in Miramarska 24. Milanović said in one of his speeches that he did not do business with Janaf, but he should answer with whom exactly his company did business and whether there was anyone among the business partners who was in any way connected to Janaf with whom he shared the office building. According to Fina, the company had revenues of HRK 625,000 in 2017, of which only HRK 70,000 was earned on the foreign market, which means that Milanović performed almost 90 percent of his consulting services in Croatia. In 2018, out of HRK 745,000 in revenue, 70 percent of services were realized in Croatia, and in 2019, 50 percent. Did he see the money counter standing behind the bar at the club? RELATED NEWS Žarko Puhovski HE DIDN'T SAVE HIM Puhovski expressly replied to Milanovic: 'He is obviously in a state of panic or has a paranoid disorder' NEW ATTACK Milanovic has a new target: 'Desperate analyst, failed politician, printer, the most dishonorable phenomenon ...' If the president had been to the club more than once, during and / or before the presidential term, he should have seen that there was a money counter behind the bar. The photos published in the media clearly show that there was a money counter behind the bar. The person who gave Kovačević that counter for Jutarnja said that it was a long time ago, about 10 years ago, which means that the counter has been there for a long time and that he was there during the time when Milanović visited the club. How is it that it was not unusual for him to have a boss of a large state-owned company keep a money counter in his club? Does the president know the people who were at the club on the day the money was handed over, and if so what is the nature of that relationship? Police secretly filmed the people who were at the club on November 11, 2019, the day Friday brought the bribe. They determined a list of 24 people, from Jakov Kitarović, to various entrepreneurs, lawyers and former athletes. The president replied that he was not at the club on Martinje, he defended Kitarović, but he did not talk about other people who were there that day and who will be on the witness list. Why did he meet Hranja in a "decent hole", as he called the Club? The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Robert Hranj, had been to the Club twice, at the invitation of the President. Milanovic did not answer whether it was an official meeting, or a private one, which they discussed, and it is unclear why he did not meet with the chief of the army in the official premises. The building of the Office of the President was not damaged in the earthquake, and several state residences are at its disposal. Why did the president change the statements? He first claimed he was not at the Club during the lockdown, only to later admit that he was. He then claimed it was two days after the quake, only to later recall that he was still there three days after the quake. He said first that he was not in the club after he was selected, but it turned out that he was. Of the two visits, as he had first said, we came to several visits. He said that he was there once as president, and it is known that Hranj was there twice at his invitation. Who are Ante and Tonči who caught, brought and stored fish? "I remembered why we were there, it was three days after the earthquake. I was in my third month, I wouldn't go again ... Who brought the fish? Ante . Who saved the fish? Tonči . And he caught it Ante, but not Kotromanović . And that's how it ended in Zagreb because Ante had a permit to come to Zagreb like thousands of people that day ... ", recalled the president of his trip to the Club during the lockdown. But he did not explain who these people were and how they “deserved” a ticket to the Club. #Zoran Milanović #Affair Janaf #Dragan Kovačević
