Thousands of protesters against Vučić's curfew, some stormed the Assembly, clashes broke out
A group of protesters broke through the fence in front of the Assembly and arrived in front of the main entrance to the building, and some of them broke into the lobby.
Several thousand revolted Belgraders took to the streets on Tuesday night, dissatisfied with the announcement by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that a curfew would be reintroduced in the Serbian capital this weekend, local media reported.
A protest against the tightening of epidemiological measures in the fight against coronavirus is being held in front of the Serbian Parliament, and members of the 'Let's not drown Belgrade' initiative were among the first to be there. They accuse the government of being responsible for the current epidemiological picture and are now introducing restrictive measures to make the situation worse.
