MIXED OPPININIONS

Morning paper FORMER MINISTER Divjak: 'I said that I would not interfere in the work of Minister Fuchs, but now I have to react ...' "The minister says that he does not know if anything has been prepared for his full-time classes, and that document has been published," claims Divjak. However, I have to react now because the minister said a lot of untruths in an interview published on the SD portal, which may stem from his ignorance. It is not true that nothing has been prepared for the new school year, as everything is described in the Action Plan for the implementation of distance learning, which was in public consultation in June and is still on the MoES website. It says where he can get the funds from, from which we have reallocated funds from the ESF and which new projects we have designed - a total of over HRK 400 million. New equipment has been ordered with EU funds arriving in September - over 100,000 tablets for students and over 27,000 laptops for teachers. The new minister first publicly announced that the School will not work on the Third, nor will video lessons be prepared, because allegedly there is no need for a backup option for all students to study at the school. RELATED NEWS FORMER MINISTER 'Never again in politics! Now I cook, plant and weed, and I need 10 minutes to walk to work ' FUCHS FOR THE MORNING School is compulsory, children need to be in classrooms! If their parents do not let them go, they will get unjustified The minister's closest associates strongly attacked the concept, especially the mentors of the School for Life, who for the most part prepared and coordinated the production of the material. Yesterday, the Ministry sent a letter to these same people inviting them to continue working on recording video lectures and the School on the Third. To be clear, I consider this a good decision, a policy of continuity that I myself advocated and implemented, because the concept was carefully designed and implemented to the best of its ability in the given circumstances. So, it is unlikely that the School on the Third (can be checked with HRT) and video lectures are already being recorded, but all this is still being prepared. Finally, the Minister says that he does not know if anything has been prepared for full-time classes (10-year school), and that document was published on the MoES website, and I handed it over to the Minister in person together with the Action Plan. I am writing this so that some half-truths or untruths do not become "truths", and also to defend the people who worked in my team and started a very demanding project of distance learning and the School for Life. These people also responded to consultations at the MoES in the last few days to explain to the Minister and his team the details of the preparation and implementation of distance learning (although we have written everything down carefully). We all have a common goal to make the next school and academic year as successful as possible, and in order to succeed in that we all need to work together and continuously upgrade the concept that we thought would last two weeks half a year ago, even though we quietly asked ourselves , and what if it takes two months or two years? - states the former minister on Facebook.
