One person was killed and one wounded in a shooting late Saturday night in Louisville’s Jefferson Square Park that became the site of a protest against a police action in which a black woman was killed at her home in March.
According to Louisville police, a report of the shooting was received around 9 p.m.
"This was followed by calls for the police in the park to revive the man who died," police said.
According to a statement, police have removed people from the park and are conducting an investigation, Other details have not been released.
