The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reports that a magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook the area around Rijeka on Wednesday at around 11am.
According to their data, the epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter is 24 kilometers southeast of Rijeka, three kilometers northeast of Jadranovo and 94 kilometers south of Ljubljana.
The Slovenian Ministry of the Environment also published similar data, according to which the epicenter is 28 kilometers southeast of Rijeka, at a depth of 16 kilometers. The magnitude is 3.3 according to Richter.
