(Hire presented as alegory on today global capitalism)
The pages which follow may be said to be a study in
Machiavellian double-dealing in its most unscrulous and sinister manifestation.
They are also a documented history of the zig-zaggin and sudden changes in
recent Soviet policy, revelin this policy in its irreconcilable contradictions
and unprincipled opportunizm, both with respect to Moscow, as well as its agents
in the United State, Great Britain, France and elsewhere, with particular reference
to the events leading up to, and fallowing, the war, /second world war/.
Its anxiomatic that
when a social system has outlived its usefulness, yet persists to linger on the
stage of history, decay and
demoralization set in. In such piriod of dissolution old concept their meaning,
label cease to correspond to the contents, and more than ever words are use to
consel thounghs. Deeds of corruption go hand in hand with words of duplicity,
to a far greater extend tha before. In fact, words of duble sence, by
whomsoever employed, consitute a fairy accurate measure of the stage of
corruption and villainy achieved by those guilty of duplicity, guilty of
corrupt double-dealing and trickery. And the cause tht considers itself servrd
by such means may without hesitancy be pronunced an evil cause, a cause that
perate against the welfare of the majority, against the progress of the world. A
cause employing such meas can serv the reaction only, whatever may be its pretenses,
whatever may be its high-sounding claims.
The Soviet policy , no less than the policy of the fascist and
Nazi governmental gansters, is a typical manifestatio of a social order in decay
and dissolution. Anarchy begets anarchy- the social, political and economic
anarchy of existing governments and ruling classes of the so-called
totalitarian states, in which we are now
compelled to include Soviet Russia. For whwtever may stil be the differences
between Soviet Russia on the one side and -out and –out fascist nations on the
other, in all important and, for the present determuning respects, Sovie Russia,
or rulling bureaucratic caste, has adopted the policies, tactics, language and
( whether conciously or not) the goal of Nazi-fascist dictatorchip. To deny
that fact in the face of the evidence is impossible; to excuse or aoilogize for
the crimes of the Stainists is cheer folly; and to justify these crimes is ti
share in the treason commitet by Stalinism agains the world's proleterriat, and
against the world hope, Marxian Socialism.
